What is the fascination of magic?
It is the power to do the unthinkable.
If used incorrectly, things go tragic.
If used for wrong, it achieves the inconceivable.

So why such a fascination with fiction?
Why does the mind mind such things implore?
Why rehearse a magical diction,
When no fruition is in store?

It gives the mind a place you see
To travel across plains unexplored.
To make the unthinkable come to be
And receive something much adored.

Magic gives an extra reality,
An otherness unexplored.
It allows mind and thought to be
Thinking on the hidden and untoward.
